COMPEL 2020 will be held Fully Virtual (posted 2020-08-25)

Considering the uncertainties and resurgence of COVID-19 in Europe, the organizing committee and IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) decide to convert COMPEL 2020 to be fully virtual, in order to assure the safety and well-being of all participants.

The workshop dates will be the same – November 9-12, 2020. We will do our best to coordinate the time difference of speakers, and facilitate the engagement, interactions and idea-sharing among all the participants.

More detailed information on the virtual technical program and instructions of speakers will be announced.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions . We look forward to receiving your full paper by October 1, 2020.

Important Update

Considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and after checking with IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), the Twenty-First IEEE Workshop on Control and Modeling for Power Electronics – COMPEL will be postponed to November 9-12, 2020.  Accordingly, the important dates are updated as follows:

Digest submission deadline:   June 1, 2020
Notification of acceptance:  August 1, 2020
Early registration closes:  October 1, 2020
Final paper submission deadline:  October 1, 2020

We are striving to be adapted to any unpredictable emergencies and would arrange a virtual workshop for the participants who cannot travel.  Further instructions regarding the virtual workshop will be announced accordingly.

*Some of the authors may prefer to withdraw their digests if they cannot travel. Then, please send your digest number and title to chair.compel@et.aau.dk by June 15, 2020.
